The Dartmoor single-breasted suit jacket is cut in 98% wool 2% elastane and finished in off black. Cut on the walnut table in our London workshop and finished by hand at the collar, buttonholes and hem.

How the garments are built

98% wool 2% elastane. Jacket fronts are built on a half-canvas of horsehair and cotton, pad-stitched through the lapel so the roll line falls without pressing, with a chest piece across the shoulder and a light shoulder wadding rather than a moulded pad. Body seams are 12mm, taped at the shoulder and armhole, and pressed open over a ham. Linings are cupro or viscose twill with a pleat at the centre back so the shoulder can move, and the sleeve head is set by hand.

Care

Dry clean only. Brush along the weave after wearing, rest the jacket 24 hours between wears and store on a shaped wooden hanger.

Stock and dispatch

This piece is in stock in the size and colour shown, already finished, measured against the spec sheet and pressed. Orders are packed in tissue and leave the workshop in 7-12 working days. UK delivery is £8.50 and free over £200.00, and unworn pieces can be returned within 14 days with the tags attached.
